The Theater staircase

Immediately after the war, German prisoners of war built a staircase in Nizhny Novgorod, called the theater staircase, which connected Theater Square with Pochaina. There is a legend associated with the staircase, which says that it was built before the arrival of Nicholas II. At the beginning of 2021, the building was renovated: the coating was renewed, the steps and balustrades were decorated with decorative elements, and artistic lighting was done.
