Detailed description

The house, built in the XVIII-XIX centuries as an urban estate, has been preserved in a rebuilt form. Its three-storey facade reflects the eclectic style of the second half of the 19th century. This is a chamber-type urban estate with a symmetrical two-story facade, most likely with a third-floor superstructure. The building is closely adjacent to the Moscow courtyard of the Solovetsky Monastery, where the 17th-century temple is located. The restoration made it possible to restore the obelisks in the niches of the second floor and give the building a new contrasting appearance using a combination of white and red brick colors. This highlighted the unique elements of the exterior facade. The restoration architects used different colors of the facades to visually separate this building from the neighboring buildings.
