M.A. Zaitsev's house
Detailed description
The rich stone two-story house has elements of Baroque and classicism, was built around 1905, belonged to Mikhail Andreevich Zaitsev, who was the trustee of the orphanage. Currently, minor alterations have been carried out inside the building, but, in general, the interior has been preserved. The stucco remains, which is located in the central hall, and a wide marble staircase. In 1918, the building was rebuilt into residential apartments. Later, the house housed the dining room of the Suvorov School, then the center for medicine and rehabilitation for children was located.
