Храм Ратчабофит

In the temple there is a famous gilded image of the Buddha in a meditation pose, Phra Buddha Anchyros, and it rests on a stand in which the ashes of King Rama VII are stored. The impressive chedi, modeled after the famous Phra Path Chedi in Nakhon Pathom Province, contains relics of the Lord Buddha, and in the fence around it there are many images of the Buddha in various poses. There is also a royal cemetery with monuments containing the ashes of the Queen, concubines, sons and daughters of King Rama V and various other members of the royal family.
