Krutitsky terem

The tower was built in 1693-1694. Architect Larion Kovalev worked on the project of the building. The terem is a two-storey building, the lower floor of which is represented by the holy gate. The terem is part of the Krutitsky farmstead. It is said that it was from the windows of this terem in the summer months that the metropolitans greeted the people and gave their blessing.
