Samara State Medical University History Museum
Detailed description
The University History Museum was established on May 25, 1974 by the efforts of Professor S.I. Stegunitsin and associate professors A.G. Saprykina and G.A. Adyshilin-Zadeh. The museum's fund holds more than 2,000 exhibits. The main exposition of the museum tells about the history of the formation and development of the university. Here are the personal belongings of academician I.B. Soldatov, member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences T.I. Eroshevsky, Golden Oscar winner G.L. Ratner, rector of SamSMU A.F. Krasnov, as well as photographs, scientific research by university scientists. The museum hosts guided tours and various cultural and educational events.
