Belfry and Holy Gates
Detailed description
In 1905, the Courtyard of the Assumption of the Old Ladoga Convent was built, located at 1/29 Narva Avenue. The architectural project was created by civil engineer Vasily Kosyakov and included the Kazan Church, chapel, belfry, cell and abbot buildings. The belfry, located on the corner of the avenues, had an arch with a wrought-iron gate through which one could enter the courtyard.
