The museum is the apartment of the writer A.S. Pushkin, which is located in the city center. It is one of the most beloved and popular attractions of the city, and is also a monument of history and culture of the Russian Federation. This was the last apartment of the writer, in which he lived in the period from 1836 to 1837. It is also here that he wrote some of his famous works, such as "The Captain's Daughter", "The Queen of Spades", "Eugene Onegin". The apartment was renovated and converted into a museum in 1925. This museum not only displays furniture and furnishings used by the poet, but also offers many exhibits related to his literary work, including manuscripts, special editions of his works and portraits. In the hall of the apartment where Pushkin's desk was installed, his personal belongings such as ties, gloves, shoes and other wardrobe items are also preserved here.
