Baskakov 's apartment house
Detailed description
In 1914, architect O.G. Piotrovich built an apartment building on Povarskaya Street for Moscow landlord Ivan Baskakov. On the territory of the complex there is a six-storey building, which is made in the neoclassical style. The special appearance of the house is created by the gray facade and the few details of the stucco decoration, stylized in Moscow classicism. On both sides of the main entrance to the building there are two side risalits, which have semicircular balconies on the top floor, supported by sockets. With the help of a light balcony that runs along the second floor of the center of the facade, the bay window rests on the second floor of the center of the facade. The main entrance is decorated with a semicircular bay window portal.
