Komelov Mansion

The construction of the mansion took place in the period 1875. The mansion is decorated in an eclectic style. By 1917, the mansion on Zavodskaya Street belonged to Mr. and Mrs. Komelov, Ivan and Sergei Mikhailovich. Both of them were honorary citizens according to the hereditary system. Ivan Mikhailovich was a commercial adviser. Sergei Mikhailovich was a member of the Special Council for Labor and Charity. This mansion is one of the most interesting and exquisite buildings in the city. It is characterized by a high degree of ornamentation and architectural details, which makes it unique and very famous among tourists and art historians.
