A.P. Sytin's mansion
Detailed description
This wooden building in the center of Moscow is a unique example of the development of the city before the fire of 1812. This is the main building of the city residence of Andrei Petrovich Sytin, adjutant of the Izmailovsky regiment, built in 1804 in the classical style on a 17th-century white stone foundation. It is included in the list of cultural properties of federal significance. In the center of the front facade is a small portico with four narrow Corinthian columns. The portico ends with a pediment with a semicircular window.
