Kislovodsk footstock
Detailed description
One of the main streets of the city of Kislovodsk is Kurortny Boulevard. The boulevard was designed by Giuseppe Bernardazzi and opened in 1836. There is a footstock on the north side of the boulevard. They didn't install it for no reason. The information on it tells about the events that took place on June 20, 2002. Then there was a flood, the Berezovskaya River, a tributary of the Olkhovaya River, overflowed its banks and flooded the entire boulevard, and the water level reached the line indicated on the footstock.
