The house where A.S. Pushkin lived with his friend P.V. Nashchokin in 1836
Detailed description
In 1835, Pushkin's friend Pavel Voinovich Nasikhokhin lived here. The stone ground floor had a small wooden mezzanine. In 1838, the mezzanine was replaced with a wooden floor along the entire length of the house, then a stone one. After the revolution, the house was razed to the ground and turned into a communal apartment. In the 1970s, it was moved and, after extensive repairs, occupied by a magazine company.
