Merchant I. G. Novokreschenov 's house

In the 1880s, a house was built for the merchant I.G. Novokreschenov. In 1890, the post office and telegraph office leased the building. Since then, the building has been rebuilt several times, adding elements of Art Nouveau style. In 1950, the interior of the post office building was designed by architect P.A. Shcherbachev in the spirit of socialist realism. In the 1960s, a glass showcase was added to the main facade.
