Museum of the History of the Savings Business

The only savings museum in the Volga region is located in the historical part of the city. The building occupied by the institution is a cultural monument, inextricably linked with the history of money. This is the former home of a major Samara merchant Arzhanov. The museum's exposition is located in two halls. The first is a collector's item that presents the entire Russian monetary system from ancient times to the present day. The second room reproduces the Russian savings bank system, arranged in historical chronology.
