The mansion of N.D. Stakheev

The mansion of N.D. Staheev is located near the Church of Peter and Paul on Novaya Basmannaya. Nikolai Dmitrievich Staheev was a gold miner. The building was built in 1898. It is a two- to three-storey brick building with balconies on the roof. The estate was filmed in a number of films and TV series. Currently, the building houses the central home for railway workers' children. The house is classified as a national heritage site of federal significance.
