The building was built in 1910 according to the design of architect Brodovitch N.S. The six-storey house with attics is located on the corner of Skipper's Bayou and was built for I. I. Sovkov. During the revolution of 1917, the famous revolutionary figure of Petrograd, A.P. Leonov, lived in this house, after whom the Vasileostrovsky tram park was formerly named. In the 1990s.
