Dag-caps

Dagh-kapy can be translated as "mountain gate". These buildings are located in the historical center of Derbent. The fortress walls and gates are well preserved. The gate was used for horse-drawn vehicles to enter the fortress. The gate opening is three meters. The gate has two flanking projections eight meters long. The walls are up to ten meters high with conical loopholes.
