Citadel of Naryn-Kala

The main attraction of Derbent is the ancient fortress of Naryn-Kala, which dates back more than 15 centuries, but it has been preserved in fairly good condition. However, over time, when its defensive functions became unnecessary, the walls were destroyed. It is worth noting that not all of them were demolished. Therefore, walking along the streets of Derbent, you can see the old entrance gate. Moreover, they are located four to five kilometers from the main castle.
