Detailed description
The urban estate of E. I. Vandyshnikova - E. M. Banza is an architectural ensemble on Vorontsovo Pole Street in Moscow, which belonged in the 18th century to Elizabeth Ivanovna from the Vandyshnikov merchant family and was named after its main owner. The estate includes the main residence at Vorontsovo Pole Street, as well as outbuildings, walls and garden sculptures. The main residence was built on the basis of the stone chamber of the XVIII century, and the rest of the buildings were completed at different times. The modern form was formed as a result of numerous alterations in the nineteenth century under the leadership of prominent architects such as Sergei Voskresensky, Viktor Kosov and Artur Karst.
