The Lady - in - Waiting 's Crypt

On Mitrofanevsky highway there is a unique monument - an ancient crypt of the XIX century, which is undeservedly deprived of attention due to the fact that it is hidden behind warehouses. This structure remained miraculously preserved after the closure and destruction of the Mitrofanevsky cemetery. Today it is difficult to imagine that a large urban cemetery was located on the territory of the industrial zone, where there were over four hundred thousand graves, including famous personalities. In 1927, the cemetery was closed. Now only a small area remains of the cemetery, where warehouses and industrial enterprises are located.
