The bank building was built in 1912 and is designed in the Northern Art Nouveau style. Limestone was used in the basement of the building. The roof of the tent tower is made of tiles. In Soviet times, the tiled roof was replaced with a metal one. The decorative design of the risalite is lost.
This organization was established during the time of the Russian Empire and provided loans to the population in 1883-1917. He issued long-term loans, mainly to peasants, and above all, the loan was intended for the purchase of private land, more often from nobles. After the opening of the bank in 1883 and before its closure in 1915, more than 15.9 million dessiatines of land were granted. The amount of funds disbursed was more than 1.35 billion rubles.
