The apartment house of the merchant Ya.M. Filatov
Detailed description
The Art Nouveau mansion was built in 1909 for merchant Filatov Ya.M.. The residents and guests of the city found the house perplexing and controversial, as the tower of the building was designed to be topped with an inverted glass. According to the merchant himself, such a pommel is a symbol of his victory over alcohol addiction. Since then, the name "House under the glass" has been attached to the house. In Soviet times, communal apartments were located in the house. Now we can continue to admire the building, which has come down to us in its original original form.
