The profitable house of the bookseller S.A. Grinberg
Detailed description
The Greenberg Apartment Building, recognized as an example of provincial Art Nouveau in Samara, is one of the most popular attractions in the city. The architectural building became the property of philistine Solomon Abrosimovich Grinberg in 1906. On July 25, 1908, the owner filed a petition for the addition of the third floor, and the response was positive. The famous architect Zelman Veniaminovich Kleinerman was involved in the project. A distinctive feature of the Art Nouveau style can be observed on the decorative wall decoration - the content of prayers and lion masks with a majestic mane and predatory grin. To this day, vegetation and flowers can be seen on the facades of the house.
