House of Commercial and Industrial Bank
Detailed description
The house, which belonged to the merchant N.F. Dunaev, was built in the first half of the 19th century. It is a two-story brick building built in the shape of a corner. At the turn of the 19th –20th centuries, the house was acquired by the owners of a Russian commercial bank. The building was rebuilt in the neo-Russian architectural style. The author of the project was architect A.U. Zelenko. Three tent turrets were completed on the roof, two at the corners and one higher in the center. The cornice is decorated with stucco. The windows are lined with carved architraves. In 1966, the building was recognized as an architectural monument.
