Merchant Peter Sysoev 's House

The house with caryatids acquired its artistic appearance in 1896, after Peter Sysoev bought it. He invited architect Zubov and together they turned the house into a showcase with sculptures. Not so long ago, the house was recommended for inclusion in the list of architectural monuments, but it has not been used by the state for many years. And in 2012-2013, the restoration of the building was carried out. Even after the restoration of the building, a magnificent cartouche with Sysoev's monogram "PS" remained on the facade of the house. Films were often shot at Sysoev's mansion.
