The mansion of E.P. Rostopchina
Detailed description
The orange two-storey building dates back to the early 19th century. However, in 1870 it was restored by architect A. Stratilatov, who decorated the facade with elegant stucco. The first known owner of the manor was Countess E. Rostopchina-Rostopchina, at the end of the 20th century, the manor was acquired by doctor K. Janish. Later it belonged to his daughter Karolina and passed to the writer N. Pavlov. "Pavlovsky Thursdays" gathered leading figures of the literary world and made this place famous.
