Detailed description

Monument of white-stone Moscow architecture. It was created as a workshop building in which artillery shells were produced. The building was built in the 14th century. In the 18th century, the original building burned down and was moved to Vasilyevsky Meadow, and later to the territory of the Simonov Monastery. For a long time it was believed that nothing had been preserved from the building, but in our century some buildings of the Granite Courtyard of the 16th and 17th centuries were found.
