M.S. Romanov's apartment house

The apartment building of M.S. Romanov is located on the corner of Tverskaya Boulevard and Malaya Bronnaya. It was Romanov who became the owner of the estate at the end of the 19th century. The four-storey building was equipped with furnished rooms, which were rented to students of the Moscow Conservatory and the Moscow School of Painting. The architecture of the building includes elements of eclecticism, Empire style and classicism. It was in this house that the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Art Theater originated.
