Pushkin Oak on Tverskoy Boulevard
Detailed description
The tree is named after Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, who repeatedly visited Tverskaya Boulevard. The tree is located opposite the house 14c1, where in December 1828 the poet first met Natalia Goncharova at a ball organized by the dancer Yoger. The tree is chained to the trunk and roots of an oak tree so that passers-by cannot approach it. The oak tree is 200 years old.
