The main house of the city estate of O. I. Garchikova - P. P. Smirnova

The residential building was built in a modern style, reconstructed in 1901-1905 according to the project of F.O.Shekhtel. One of the main monuments of Moscow and one of the most famous buildings of architect Shekhtel. He was entrusted with the remodeling of the exterior facade and also the restoration inside the building. The house has been remodeled for five years. The changes took place in the format of expanding the rooms inside the building with Art Nouveau decoration. An object of cultural and historical heritage of federal significance. After P. P. Smirnov's death, the house served for the Moscow Judicial Administration.
