The dormitory of the Moscow University named after St. Nicholas II on Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street is a four-storey building in the neoclassical style. The windows are made in a semicircular classical style. During the Soviet era, the building housed the Institute of Physics of the Earth named after O.Y. Schmidt.
