The Arc de Triomphe
Detailed description
Three triumphal arches dedicated to the victory of the First World War in 1812 and opened in October 1828. It completes the composition of the Palace Square, connecting the two wings of the General Staff. On the side of the palace square, above an arch 35 meters high, there is a chariot drawn by six horses. They are being held back by two Roman soldiers, and in the center of the chariot is the goddess of victory Nika, holding a wreath of laurel in her hands, symbolizing glory. The walls of the arch are decorated with various ornaments and figures of warriors. Anyone can visit the attraction and take beautiful photos.
