Detailed description
The building was built between 1819 and 1829. The western part of the house houses the command of the Western Military District of Russia, while the eastern part houses the collections of the State Hermitage Museum. One of the building's features is the Arc de triomphe, dedicated to Russia's victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. The composition consists of two arches. By 2013, the building was renovated.
