Detailed description
The three-storey brick house was built in 1806 in the classical style. At various times, it was residential and profitable; it also housed a music store, flower and wine shops, one of the first photo studios in Russia, and the St. Petersburg Fire Insurance Society. In 1884, the 4th floor was completely added.The interior and facade were redesigned: now the building belonged to the eclectic style. Now commercial companies are located in the house. Nearby attractions include the Admiralty, the Hermitage, St. Isaac's Cathedral and Kazan Cathedral. The nearest metro station is Admiralteyskaya.
