House of I.D. Agafonov
Detailed description
The building was built in the early 20th century, in 1910, according to the design of architect P. V. Rezvy for merchant I. D. Agafonov. Before that, another building was located on the site of the house, demolished after a flood in the 19th century. The house is made of stone, five storeys high, with bay windows, moldings along the window openings around the perimeter. Wrought-iron balconies add grace to the structure.
