Entrance gate of the estate of I.V. Liventsev
Detailed description
Entrance gate on the territory of the Liventsev estate. They, along with the main building, were erected in 1779. Ivan Livensev, the richest man of that time, ordered the estate for himself. The gates were built in an architectural style similar to early Russian classicism. They are still in good condition, but they need regular repairs. These are tall stone structures, which are graceful pylons, which consist of Doric columns with lamps at the top. They stand on high plinths, then they were protected from passing wagons by cast-iron slabs with bas-reliefs of lions.
