House of K.G. Ivanov

The three-storey brick building was built in 1905-1907. The house in the style of academic eclecticism is one of the most striking examples of a rich residential building. Now it looks almost unchanged, with four additional entrances on the front facade. An iron fire escape and outbuildings were built in the courtyard. The rich street facade decorated with stucco is plastered and painted. The bottom is lighter and rusticated, acts as a base. The second and third floors have the color of clay bricks combined with white stucco details. The base is lined with red polished granite. The windows located on the facade have different sizes, proportions and decorative design. Three-quarter columns, similar to ionic ones, are placed on different sides, the trunks of which are divided by flutes, decorated in the lower part with ornaments and hanging ribbons. The building is an architectural monument. It has an important urban planning significance, as it is part of the architectural ensemble of the firewall building of the old Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street.
