Detailed description

Petrovsky Ravine is one of the main parts of the Peter the Great dock. The dock was built in 1751 at the workshops of the Marine Plant. This is the oldest building of the Kronstadt naval fortress. The ravine is a drainage channel from Petrovsky dock. This is where the water got when the dock was drained. The Makarovsky Bridge was thrown over the ravine. During the revolution, naval officers were shot here.
