The estate of E.I. Bogoyavlenskaya, the main house
Detailed description
The estate of E. I. Bogoyavlenskoe in the historical center of Nizhny Novgorod is an architectural ensemble. The architect of the complex, I. K. Kostryukov, built the estate in 1877. The estate complex includes three buildings: the main house, an outbuilding and a stone gate. The buildings are an example of a Nizhny Novgorod wooden urban residential building from the 1870s. The facades of the buildings are richly decorated with carvings. From 1894 to 1910, the city's first free library-reading room was located, established by the Society for the Dissemination of Primary Education in Nizhny Novgorod province. The complex of buildings is associated with the development of primary education in Nizhny Novgorod province, as here,
