House of F.P. Dobrolyubov – M.I. Uglova
Detailed description
Not all the houses on Bolshaya Pecherskaya Street have retained their architectural appearance. And in the 19th century, this street was an elite residential area for nobles, and later for rich merchants. For this reason, many houses located on this street are recognized as architectural monuments. House No. 45 is a two-storey mansion, the first floor of which is decorated with rusticated wood, and the windows are decorated with architraves with cornices. The house was designed by architect I.K. Kostryukov in the neoclassical style. It is currently in need of restoration, but the architectural features of the old building have been preserved.
