The mansion of engineer Sergey Chaev

Sergei Chaev's mansion is located near Gauswald's cottage on the banks of the Malaya Nevka River. The building was built in 1913-1914. Chaev was an engineer, and later Deputy Minister of Railways. In the post-revolutionary period, he became a minister in Denikin's White Guard government. At the end of 1920, he moved to France. In the 1980s, the building was given over to the theater, but the theater soon closed, and in 2010 the building was sold to a private individual. The house is classified as a national heritage site.
