The mansion of G.P. Eliseev

In 1860, the site passed into the possession of the merchant Eliseev. Eliseev was the founder of a famous merchant dynasty. In 1884, the building was rebuilt. An image of the state coat of arms appeared on the facade of the house. In the first half of the 20th century, the mansion was transferred to the State Optical Institute and scientific activities were carried out in the building.
