Mining Institute
Detailed description
In 1806-1811, the Mining Institute was built in St. Petersburg, the architect was A.N. Voronikhin. The institute complex includes five buildings and the main building. The main building is a building with a portico and twelve columns. Above the main entrance there is a triangular pediment with a frieze and a double-headed eagle. There are large statues on the main staircase, along its edges. The museum of the Mining Institute is located on the second floor of the building.
