Mantashev 's dacha
Detailed description
Oil magnate Alexander Mantashev built a summer cottage in Kislovodsk. He was one of the 20 richest people in the Russian Empire. At the same time, Alexander did not like luxury and had a rather modest mansion in Kislovodsk made of yellow and red bricks. The mansion is modest, it has tall windows with Moorish arches, pilasters, palace domes and towers. It is believed that it was created in the early 20th century by the chief architect of Kislovodsk, Emmanuel Khodzhaev, who used many Moorish motifs.
