Gauswald Cottage
Detailed description
The cottage was built in Art Nouveau style in 1898 for the baker's wife, Evgenia Karlovna Gauswald. Then in 1901 Demidov bought a cottage. Even later, in 1918, the Lunacharsky Children's colony was located in the mansion, which stayed here for five years. After that, the building was used for many years as a sanatorium of the Leningrad Metallurgical Plant. In 2019, the building was renovated and painted in its original colors. Now it is possible to get to the territory itself, having previously agreed with the owner.
