The profitable house of the Moscow Spiritual Consistory
Detailed description
Before the revolution, the Moscow Spiritual Consistory, the Office of Church Affairs, was located in a two-story building on Myasnitskaya Street. In the 1890s, the buildings on this site were demolished and new construction began for the consistory. The large pseudo-Russian style building was designed by V. E. Sretensky. In 1910, in the passage on the right, a tenement house was built for the Moscow Ecclesiastical Consistory. The project of this house was carried out by P. A. Vinogradov. The premises of this building were rented out.
