The apartment house of the insurance company Russia
Detailed description
The apartment building was built in the XVIII century. The first owners were the Dadiani princes. At the end of the 19th century, the building was purchased by an insurance company, which planned to build an elite hotel on this site. The foundation had already been laid, but a quarrel with the partners prevented these plans. An apartment building was built instead of a hotel. The building was built in 1902. The name of the insurance company was laid out on the facade, a clock was installed on the attic, to the left and right of which sculptures of women were installed, called "justice" and "consolation".
