Gun turret

The gun is installed at the bridge over the Bypass Canal on Yakornaya Square. It was taken from the battleship October Revolution, which defended the approaches to Leningrad from the sea during the war. The gun was installed in memory of Foreman Ivan Tambasov and bears his name. At the cost of his own life, the petty officer saved the ship and his comrades from death.
