Detailed description
In 1846, a stone one-story building was erected. His original name was the Service of the Commandant's Department. At the moment, the building is called the Carriage House. It is located on the territory of the Peter and Paul Fortress, between the Naryshkin Bastion and the Commandant's House. On the territory of the Carriage House there are: a stable and six stalls, carriage sheds, a manure pit in a covered courtyard. From the west, in the central part, there is a gate entrance. The building was damaged during the war years. From 1994 to 2003, the restoration of the building was carried out. It currently serves as a museum with temporary exhibitions.
